I started building custom leather in 1991 as an apprentice at a shop in Cody, WY. I competed in bareback as both an amateur and professional. During that time I came to understand the value of quality workmanship in the gear I used and appreciate the aesthetic features of the individual makers.
Since that time I have developed my own style that combines design elements from a diverse group of influences. I use only the highest quality Herman Oak, Napa leather and fine silver to craft each piece.
My gear is used by both professionals and amateur contestants in rodeo, reining, cutting, and western pleasure as well as countless cowboys and cowgirls who work everyday on horseback.
My gear has been exhibited in galleries and museums. I have won numerous awards for my gear. Most notably I received a purchase award for a bridal set from the Governors Capital Arts Exhibition in Cheyenne Wyoming.
