Delivery Technician
Wind River Home Oxygen is looking to expand our team. We are seeking a delivery technician who works well in a fast-paced environment and who can handle frequent changes.
Your Responsibilities would include:
- Represent the Company in a professional and courteous manner in all interactions with the client/patient
- Schedule and deliver home medical equipment to clients/patients homes
- Schedule and deliver hospice equipment to clients/patients homes
- Demonstrate and explain HME equipment in the client’s home and obtain appropriate documentation
- Schedule and perform concentrator maintenance as assigned in office and at patients homes
- Schedule a weekly route to drop off supplies to patients' homes
- Pick up and clean home medical equipment as needed and obtain signatures
- Perform light maintenance and cleaning on the delivery van and maintain mileage/vehicle check logs
- Assist in resolving client equipment problems when appropriate
- Participate in an on-call rotation consisting of 7-14 days a month depending on number of eligible employees
- Receive inventory/ stock supplies and enter into brightree as assigned by branch manager
- Report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required in accordance with company policy
- Assist the director of sales and marketing in selling retail items
- Have and maintain an active drivers license
- Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies
- Participate in the Company's Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement Coordinator
- Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the compliance officer
- Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities
- Perform other duties as assigned by branch manager
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record for the past three years
- Effective interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
- Computer skills that include word processing, and efficient use of the internet and e-mail
- One year of home medical equipment experience preferred
