POSITION: Student Success Advocate
LOCATION: District-wide
SALARY: $53,350 (based on the current 2024-25 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: Full-time, 210-day work schedule
START DATE: July 2025

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a post-secondary degree in education, social work, or a related field. Must have a minimum two years experience in a similarly situated position, in a similarly sized district or a combination of experience and district size/complexity. Must have demonstrated knowledge and experience in youth and family development, building community partnerships, along with proven skills in leadership, group facilitation, marketing, communication, and data collection. Must have experience working with and serving all kinds of families and have an understanding of their needs.

DESCRIPTION: This multifaceted role supports the instructional process by identifying and assisting students at risk of not completing their education, including students who are homeless or involved in the foster care system. This position bridges communication between schools and families, connects students and families to resources, and collaborates with stakeholders to improve attendance, academic outcomes, and district performance measures. Additionally, this position ensures educational stability for students in foster care or homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Act and other related requirements. This role directly impacts the success of at-risk students and requires collaboration, communication, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to positive educational outcomes for every student.
