POSITION: Assistant Track Coach (At-Will)
LOCATION: Lander Valley High School
SALARY: $4,987.50
START DATE: March 2025

JOB DESCRIPTION:
● Establishes a winning philosophy promoting winning, positive life skills, sportsmanship;
● Maintains a positive relationship with athletes, parents, and other staff;
● Teaches track and field fundamentals;
● Supervises student athletes during travel and home meets;
● Assists in set up/tear down of practices and home meet(s);
● Assists in maintaining equipment inventory;
● Works under the direction of the head coach;
● Models good sportsmanship; and
● Teaches and upholds school and WHSAA rules & regulations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
● PTSB coaching certification as assistant track and field coach or a head coach in any area;
● Track and field coaching experience;
● Ability to establish a positive relationship with athletes, parents, and other staff; and
● Ability to attend all practices and meets.

Certification: In order to qualify for a coaching position, a person must hold a coaching permit or a teaching certificate with an endorsement as a head coach issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board.
