POSITION: Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Coordinator/Student Support Center Coordinator
LOCATION: Lander Middle School (6-8)
SALARY: $49,875 minimum (based on 2024-25 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: Full-time, 185-day contract
START DATE: August 19, 2024

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold, a certificate issued by the Wyoming Professional Teaching Standards Board with an endorsement as a secondary teacher, preferably in English Language Arts and be “highly qualified”. Other desired qualifications include: strong background in literacy and math, ability to identify challenges and create solutions at a system-wide level, willingness to be a team player; strong organizational skills; strong communications skills; and a willingness to continue to grow professionally. Experience with Professional Learning Communities and curriculum is beneficial.

DESCRIPTION: A successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework as it pertains to literacy initiatives funded by the grant. Develop and implement an MTSS plan tailored to the specific needs and goals outlined in the literacy grant. Collaboration with the Curriculum Coordinator, Grant Director and school administrators to ensure stakeholders collaborate and align practice to the MTSS literacy objectives will be expected. In addition to implementation and fidelity of the Literacy Grant, the successful candidate will also monitor and implement support to students needing support with missing assessments and standards and student work in the Student Support Center (SSC).
