“The Pony Express in Wyoming” July 16th, 7-8pm
The Fremont County Pioneer Museum will be hosting Brandy Eggleman from the National Pony Express Association, Beaver Rim Chapter on the history and significance of the Pony Express.
She will have items like saddlebags used in today’s Pony Express “re-rides” for the audience to look at. Every June, hundreds of riders from across the country come together to take part in the annual Pony Express Re-Ride, relaying the mail nearly 2,000 miles from Missouri to California.
This Wyoming Community Bank Discovery Speakers Series program is free and open to the
public. Call 307-332-3373 for details.
