The community is invited to attend an information session regarding the 1/2% Economic Development Tax which will be on the ballot November 5th. The event will take place on Monday, October 7th beginning at 6pm in the Community Room at the Riverton Branch Library. It is open to the public and following presentations, questions from the audience will be taken.

The information session has been organized by a group of concerned citizens and is presented by the Forward Fremont County PAC. It will be moderated by Kate Debow-Hayes.
Presenters will include non-partisan representatives Kyle Butterfield, Riverton City Administrator, and Missy White, a 10-year member of the Fremont Air Service Team (FAST). They will be joined by Alan Moore, President of IDEA, Inc a Riverton-based Economic Development Organization.
Presentations will cover the impact of the 1/2% tax on various services and how, if passed, the monies will be allocated per a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding between Fremont County Governmental bodies.
