POSITION: SPED Behavior Paraprofessional (Multiple Positions)
LOCATION: Lander Middle School
SALARY: $21.88/hr. minimum, 37.5 hours/week minimum; full benefits
START DATE: August 17, 2025

DESCRIPTION: These positions provide academic and behavioral support for students in grades 6-8 and may provide some small group instruction. The job entails providing the students with academic and behavioral support in the classroom. In addition, this person will be responsible for observing and documenting student progress, working collaboratively with the special education and general education teachers, and implementing the student’s behavioral programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:
● At least 48 semester credits at an institution of higher education; or have an associate’s degree; or pass the District’s basic skills test.
● Experience preferred working with middle school students.
● Ability to follow directions and implement behavior and academic plans.
● Ability to use various computer programs and other technology.
