POSITION: Special Education Paraprofessional
LOCATION: Gannett Peak Elementary (K-3)
SALARY: $20.68/hr minimum, 35 hours/week; full benefits
START DATE: August 17, 2026

DESCRIPTION: This 7-hour a day, classified position provides academic support for students. This paraprofessional position is responsible for observing and documenting student progress, working collaboratively with the teachers, implementing the student’s behavioral programming, and providing support in the classroom as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
● Target job related education (two years of study 48 semester credits at an institution of higher education or have an associate’s degree or pass the District’s basic skills test.)
● Ability to collaborate as a team member and implement student behavior and academic plans effectively.
● Ability to use various computer programs and other technology.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
