POSITION: Math Teacher
LOCATION: Pathfinder High School
SALARY: $63,387 starting base salary (based on 2026-27 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: 185-day contract
START DATE: August 17, 2026

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold a Wyoming teaching certificate with an endorsement in mathematics. Desired qualifications include: Strong background in math; ability to work well with at-risk students; ability to use a variety of instructional strategies; knowledge of and ability to teach Common Core State Math Standards; ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students and staff; good classroom management skills; willingness and ability to work cooperatively with the secondary math and PHS professional learning communities; and willingness to participate in meetings and professional development activities.
JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will teach all math classes at Pathfinder High School (Approximately 50 students). Pathfinder is the District’s alternative high school and serves at-risk students.
