POSITION: Family and Consumer Science Teacher
LOCATION: Lander Middle School
SALARY: $63,387 starting base salary (based on 2026-27 salary schedule)
CONTRACT: 185-day contract with full benefits
START DATE: August 2026
POSITION CLOSES: Open until filled

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold a Wyoming teaching certificate with an endorsement in Family and Consumer Science. Desired qualifications include: Ability to teach all areas of FACS in accordance with the Wyoming State Career and Technical standards, cooking, sewing, clothing and interior design, and other related classes; has high expectations for students and ability to help students meet those expectations; ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students and staff; good classroom management skills; willingness and ability to work cooperatively with other personnel in the school; knowledge of and experience with implementing effective, research-based classroom instructional strategies to increase student achievement; ability to work well with a diverse group of students; knowledge and experience working in a professional learning community (PLC) and willingness to participate in meetings and professional development activities.
