POSITION: Bus Monitor
LOCATION: Transportation/Warehouse
SALARY: $18.43/ hr minimum, 6 Hours per day, 179 days per school year; full benefits
START DATE: As Soon As Possible

QUALIFICATIONS:A high school diploma or equivalent is required. and job-related experience is desired.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The job of the bus monitor is to assist with students and drivers during transport to and from school and/or special activities; and ensuring the safety and sanitation of assigned vehicles.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 10% sitting, 45% standing, 45% walking and being able to lift at least 50 pounds. This job is performed under some temperature extremes and under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury.
