PAY & BENEFITS: Starting Wage $18.43/hour, 180 days per school year, full benefits

DESCRIPTION: Lander Middle School is seeking a dependable and caring individual to support students who receive virtual speech-language services. Working under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, the Speech-Language Paraprofessional will transport students to and from their scheduled virtual sessions, assist with engagement and time-on-task, and provide behavior and organizational support to help students succeed during therapy. The position also includes offering basic technical assistance, such as helping students log in or troubleshoot simple issues, and maintaining clear communication with the supervising SLP and school staff. The successful candidate will be a collaborative team member dedicated to supporting student success, upholding all district policies and confidentiality requirements, and performing other paraprofessional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
● Target job related education (two years of study 48 semester credits at an institution of higher education, have an associate’s degree or pass the District’s basic skills test.)
● Experience preferred working with middle school students
● Ability to follow directions and implement behavior and academic plans
● Ability to use various computer programs and other technology
