POSITION: Custodian 
LOCATION: Lander Valley High School 
SALARY: $21.38/hr, minimum (260 days for full year); full benefits 
SCHEDULE: Daily work schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday 
START DATE: As Soon As Possible

QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; job-related experience is desired; be able to follow instructions; and ability to interact positively with students, teachers, parents, and others encountered in this role. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; significant fine finger dexterity; be able to work around cleaners and chemicals; and be able to work in the cold. 

JOB DESCRIPTION: The job of a custodian is done for the purpose of maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and public; providing and arranging equipment and furniture, etc. for meetings, classroom activities and events; and ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in safe, proper and timely manner. This position will clean a specific area of a school; assist with snow removal; operate various pieces of equipment; and perform similar tasks.
