POSITION: Job Training Facilitator
LOCATION: Lander Valley High School, Pathfinder High School, and Lander Middle School
SALARY: $19.78/hr. Minimum (based on the 2025-2026 salary schedule), 37.5 hours/week minimum 180 days with extra duty in the summer (maximum of 20 days); full benefits

DESCRIPTION: This role involves using age-appropriate assessments to inform measurable postsecondary goals, and collaborating with IEP teams, students, and families to identify and coordinate necessary transition services. The Coordinator facilitates career awareness, exploration, and workplace readiness via school and community-based experiences, establishing partnerships with local businesses, postsecondary institutions, and community agencies. Additional duties include providing guidance on postsecondary planning and resources, promoting transition programming, and supporting staff. The Coordinator also monitors and documents transition services to ensure IEP implementation and compliance with federal and state special education requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
● Career Development Facilitator Certificate (Preferred)
● ServSafe Certificate (Preferred)
● Valid Driver’s License & Evidence of Insurability (Required)
● Experience working with students and/or young adults with disabilities.
● Knowledge and/or experience connecting people with community resources.
● Experience communicating with diverse groups, maintaining confidentiality, and working as part of a team, meeting deadlines and schedules.
● Ability to use various computer programs and other technology.
● Background knowledge of special education (Preferred)
