The City of Lander Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Mayor and City Council concerning new subdivisions, annexations, requests for water and sewer outside city limits, and street and alley vacation requests. Planning Commission meets the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at City Hall. Special meetings may be called as needed.

The Fremont County Pioneer Museum will lead a Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek at the historic Louis Lake Lodge on August 8th at 10am.
The City of Lander Mayor and Council have regular meetings for the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM.
Museum staff will give an overview of the history of the town for the last 120 years!
