While Wyoming isn’t exactly known for its edible mushrooms, they can and do grow here. Even better, with a little effort you can grow your own.
In this course, we will learn one method of farming your own mushrooms - growing almond agarics in a high tunnel garden bed. This workshop will cover the basics of mushroom farming and identification, proper preparation, and tips for maximizing yields. The class will include a practical demonstration on site. Class participants will be able to return to the site to harvest mushrooms at a later date.
