POSITION: Trade/Technical -- Industrial Arts Teacher
LOCATION: Lander Valley High School
SALARY: $52,200 starting base salary (based on 2025-26 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: 185-day contract
START DATE: August 18, 2025

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold a Wyoming teaching certificate with an endorsement in Trade/Technical 6-12, Industrial Arts 6-12, or Agriculture Science 6-12. Desired qualifications include: Past successful high school teaching experience in industrial technology, especially automotive; ability to ensure students learn relative, life skills in automotive; ability to ensure that students learn safety procedures and students are safe; good organizational skills; ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with students and staff; good classroom management skills; knowledge of and ability and willingness to teach other industrial technology disciplines; willingness and ability to work cooperatively with the other vocational teachers and other personnel in the school; knowledge of and experience with implementing effective, research-based classroom instructional strategies to increase student achievement; ability to work well with a diverse group of students; and willingness to participate in collaborative team meetings and professional development activities in a professional learning community.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will teach automotive and possibly other Industrial Art, Agriculture Science classes at Lander Valley High School (550 students) and work collaboratively with the other industrial arts teacher (woods) and the agriculture teacher.
