About the Wyoming Wildlife Federation:

The Wyoming Wildlife Federation (WWF) works to conserve wildlife, habitat, and outdoor opportunities. Founded in 1937, we are the oldest and largest sportsmen conservation organization in Wyoming. 

 

Summary of Position:

WWF has a summer assistant opportunity running from June 2nd through August 22nd.  The primary duties will be assisting during WWF summer day camps, but the position will also help with administrative tasks and get a chance to sample all parts of working for a nonprofit organization including education, advocacy, communication, and marketing/philanthropy programs.  The assistant must be available for summer camp dates, but flexible scheduling and time off are available during non-camp weeks.

 

Major Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide assistance and supervision during summer day-camp programs.

  • Ensure the safety of camp participants.

  • Assist WWF staff with administrative tasks.

  • Assist in organizing and carrying out WWF events.

Qualifications: 

  • At least 16 years old.

  • Interest in education and outdoor activities.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Must have clean driving and criminal record. 

 

Additional Details:

  • This position will be located in Lander, WY

  • $15/hour
