SALARY: $52,200 minimum (based on the current 2025-26 salary schedule); full benefits
CONTRACT: Full-time, 185-day contract

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold or be eligible to hold a Wyoming teaching certificate. Desired abilities, background, and characteristics include experience teaching reading and math to elementary students; ability to work with struggling students; ability to analyze, use, and share data to make modifications in instruction; strong classroom management skills; willingness to be a team player and work in a PLC team setting; ability to teach the standards and benchmarks to ensure student learning; organized; good communication skills; willingness to grow professionally; energetic; and love of children.
DESCRIPTION: The interventionist is responsible for providing high-level literacy and math interventions to struggling students; teaching research based interventions during Tier II and III instructional times; administering diagnostic assessments and interpreting the results; providing support and suggestions to the regular classroom teachers in the area of reading and math; participating in professional learning community meetings with other teachers to discuss student progress and instructional strategies; providing student data for building intervention team meetings; and creating, analyzing, and sharing data with staff from multiple sources.
