Job Description
We are a faith base Christian preschool seeking a passionate and dedicated lead Preschool Teacher. The ideal candidate will foster a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role requires creativity, patience, and a strong understanding & commitment to early childhood education principles.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and expand on established lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards as well as ecumenical Christian values.
  • Create a safe and welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a positive atmosphere for all students.
  • Provide individualized support to children with diverse needs, including those requiring early intervention or special education services.
  • Facilitate physical education activities that promote health and wellness among preschoolers.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and development.
  • Collaborate with State Licensers, Organizational representatives and other educators to enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities.
  • Ensure the preschool complies with all relevant state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or 4 years related experience preferred.
  • Experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting is required.
  • Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
  • Ability to implement (with guidance) early intervention strategies for children with differing needs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and staff.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and nurturing young minds.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
  • Possess a positive and engaging attitude while interacting with children, parents, staff and guests!
  • Must possess a valid Wyoming Drivers License with a clear driving record, and willingness to drive students to and from field trips.

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week, August through May (observing the Fremont County School schedule/closures)

Salary: $34,000 - $35,500 based on qualifications and experience
