July 4 Royalty and Little Prince and Princess contest May 21

The Lander Pioneer Days Royalty 2026 Contest for Queen, Jr. Queen,

and Princess is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, 2026 at 6:00 pm at the Lander Old

Timers Rodeo Association (LOTRA) Indoor Arena in Lander. At the same time, the Lander

Valley Cattlewomen will sponsor the Little Prince & Princess Contest.



Contestant entry form and packets can be e-mailed to applicants, downloaded at

LOTRA.org or picked up at the Lander Chamber of Commerce. Applications will be

accepted up to May 21 at the contest. Filled out applications can be e-mailed to

lotrarodeo@yahoo.com, or drop off completed form to the Lander Chamber of

Commerce. Applicants can bring the forms in-person the day of the contest by 5:30 pm,

May 21, 2026.

All Lander Pioneer Days Queen, Jr. Queen, and Princess contestants must be a resident

of Fremont County, Wyoming. Queen contestants must be between the ages of 18 – 23

as of 1/1/26. Jr. Queen contestants must be between the ages of 13 – 17 as of 1/1/26.

Princess contestants must be between the ages of 7 – 12 as of 1/1/26.



The Lander Valley Cattlewomen will hold the Little Prince & Princess Contest at the

beginning of this contest, at 6:00 pm at the LOTRA barn. These young cowgirls and

cowboys must be 4-6 years old at the time of the May 21 contest. Winners must be able

to participate in the Pioneer Days Parade on July 4 and ride in a convertible. Applications

can be picked up at the Lander Chamber of Commerce and can be brought in-person the

day of the contest by 5:30 pm, May 21, 2026. For more information for the Little Prince
