The Pioneer Museum in Lander will host this super fun event September 30th from 1-3pm on the Museum’s grounds.
This is a great day to get out and visit the Museum! We’ll be making harvest and Halloween themed crafts and snacks, and our classic Kid’s games.
What was life like in the 70s? Have a glimpse with us as we open up a time capsule from 1977 made by Riverton Junior High school students.
This year we will follow the tie hacks up the West Dunoir Valley to see where they harvested ties, stacked the ties, and where the main headquarters was.
Come and take a guided hike around the scenic reservoir at Boysen State Park and learn about the history of the Boysen Dam!
View the petroglyphs at Castle Gardens and learn about the Bureau of Land Management’s efforts to preserve them.
