The Pioneer Museum is hosting an afternoon of learning some of the history of handmade crafts, and learning to make a simple rag rug.
This is a great day to get out and visit the Museum! We’ll be making harvest and Halloween themed crafts and snacks, and our classic Kid’s games.
Come to the Dubois Museum for “Halloween at the Museum,” October 26th from 3-5 pm:
Instead just reading about Lander's rich apple orchard history, come to Lander's Pioneer Museum to experience it for yourselves!
Spots are limited and it is $15.00 per person. Will meet at the museum to carpool to the site. Call the Pioneer Museum for details 1-307-332-3339.
We will have a small talk on what life was like, and then make some toys that a pioneer kid would have enjoyed and play some pioneer games.
This will make you much more appreciative of how resourceful and creative the Native Americans were to meet their needs.
