The purpose of this meeting is to continue the Committee's interim work. The Committee will consider bill drafts and receive information on: (1) property tax data requests; (2) review of property tax open issues; (3) government property tax exemptions; (4) sales and use tax; (5) ATV and vehicle sales tax collection; (6) electric generation tax options; (7) combining sales and use tax statutes; and (8) review bill draft requests.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider draft legislation regarding student discipline, teacher recruitment and retention, the reading assessment and intervention program, charter schools, the Hathaway Program, and Wyoming's Tomorrow Program. The Committee will also receive information in response to requests made at the May 28-29 meeting.
The City of Lander Planning Commission makes recommendations to the Mayor and City Council concerning new subdivisions, annexations, requests for water and sewer outside city limits, and street and alley vacation requests. Planning Commission meets the first and third Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM at City Hall. Special meetings may be called as needed.
