The purpose of this meeting is to complete the Committee's interim work. The Committee will receive information and consider bill drafts related to: (1) statutory monetary limits for the Wyoming Governmental Claims Act; (2) liability for negligent investigation for governmental entities; (3) peace officer training; (4) squatting issues; (5) the Wyoming Department of Corrections and restoration of rights; (6) protection orders; and (7) bills from the Mental Health and Vulnerable Adult Task Force concerning confidentiality and treatment courts. The Committee will also receive information regarding adoption and foster care issues.
The purpose of this meeting is to approve the calendar for the 2025 General Session; update Management Council policies and handbooks; receive updates from LSO, task forces, and select committees; consider the revisor's bill; and discuss issues pursuant to Management Council's statutory authority. A portion of this meeting will be held in executive session.
