Wyoming Legislature 2024 Joint Agriculture, State and Public Lands & Water Resources
The purpose of this meeting is to continue the Committee's interim work. The Committee will continue discussing the issues surrounding wild horses and consider draft legislation. Legislation addressing temporary water use agreements, eminent domain, and Federal land use plans will be considered by the Committee. The Committee will receive updates from the State Forester on issues affecting Wyoming and from the Wyoming State Veterinary Laboratory regarding staffing. The Wyoming Department of Agriculture will provide information regarding state meat inspections and the rangeland health assessment program. Based on recent events the Committee will discuss fire response and recovery.
