In this webinar we’ll dig into the world of trademarks. While people often use the words trademark, patent and copyright interchangeably, they are very different aspects of intellectual property. Trademarks are an important part of marketing your business, allowing customers to recognize your business and products.  Dive into the world of trademarks; learn more about what they are, how they function and what is required to register them at the state and federal level.

Presenter:  Anne Kuipers is the PTRC (Patent and Trademark Resource Center) representative for the state of Wyoming. Additionally, she is also the state documents librarian at the Wyoming State Library, where she manages the publications of the state government. When she is not enjoying being a librarian, Anne can often be found spending time with her cat Tillie and scouring craft stores to feed her large crafting habits.
