The purpose of this meeting is to begin the Committee's interim work. The Committee will receive information and updates from the Wyoming Department of Transportation on: (1) engineering updates; (2) operations update; (3) road maintenance update; (4) Wyoming Highway Patrol update; (5) Division O update; (6) WyoLink update; and (7) funding overview. The Committee will receive information and updates from the Wyoming Military Department on: (1) force readiness; (2) Wyoming National Guard Member Referral Incentive Program update; and (3) statutory update overview. The Committee will also receive information and updates from the Wyoming Veterans' Commission on: (1) agency overview and update; and (2) compensation for veterans' benefits matters. The Committee will receive information from the Department of Defense on their agency. The Committee will receive information on county and municipal water and sewer infrastructure from stakeholders. Committee members will also tour the WYDOT Sheridan Campus and the Wyoming National Guard Armory. Interim topics are subject to Management Council's approval and may change.
The meeting will be held in person in Sheridan and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature's Website (www.wyoleg.gov). A limited number of participants can sign up to provide public comment virtually for a specified agenda item during the Committee's upcoming meeting. The total amount of time dedicated to virtual public comment is set by the Committee Chairmen per Management Council Policy. Please fill out the public comment form to ensure the Committee knows you intend to provide public comment virtually. Only those who fill out the form to provide public comments virtually and who are e-mailed the Zoom invite from the Legislative Service Office will be permitted into the Zoom meeting to testify.
