Wyoming Office of Tourism Sign Grant Program
NEW! Changes made to the program to benefit those organizations applying for funding.
The Wyoming Office of Tourism receives $400,000 each biennium to fund signage projects along Wyoming's highways. The purpose of the grant program is to nurture Wyoming's tourism industry by creating a more visitor friendly and accessible destination. The program is a biennium program that provides funding in the following sign categories: Interpretive/Wayside Exhibits; Guide/Service/Attraction; and Free Form signs. Any non-profit entity, municipality, tribal government, state and federal agency are eligible to apply for funding.

Changes to the program include:

  • 50% cash match for Interpretive/Wayside exhibits and Free Form signs has been reduced to a 20% cash or in-kind match on behalf of the applicant.
  • Guide/Service/Attraction signs will be funded in full if approved.
  • Installation costs can now be included in the project budget and will be funded up to 50%.
Applications for the Fiscal Year 2013 are now available!
Application Deadline: May 18, 2012.

Organizations applying in the Interpretive/Wayside Exhibit category are also strongly encouraged to attend WOT's Interpretive Sign Workshops.
