Sinks Canyon Cave Tour

“Sinks Canyon Cave Trek” September 20th 9am

Join the Riverton Museum for the Sinks Canyon Boulder Choke Cave trek as part of the Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series.

We will be driving down to Sinks Canyon as a group and exploring the boulder choke cave, a geological wonder known for its river that disappears into a limestone cavern. We will be exploring the inside of the cave and learning about the geological features and natural history of Sinks Canyon.

This trek will be inside of a cave, so please dress accordingly. Some level of physical fitness is required, such as the ability to crawl on your hands and knees, and to slide down a short length of rope. Total cost is $10 per person, reservations are required.
