October Halloween Events

“October Halloween Events”
The haunted season has begun! The Wind River Hotel and Casino along with community sponsors will host two Halloween carnivals in October. The first festival will be held on October 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Blue Sky Hall in Ethete. The second carnival will be on October 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Great Plains Hall in Arapahoe. Different activity booths will be set up including pumpkin decorating, bean bag toss and a mini haunted house. The purpose of these festivals is to provide safe, family friendly environments for the community to enjoy and give the youth a positive Halloween experience.
The Northern Arapaho Experience Cultural Room will also be hosting “Haunted Wind River Tales,” on October 24. Bring the family and come listen to some of Wind River’s most scary stories. Storytelling sessions start at 5, 6 and 7 p.m. in the experience room which is located in the hotel lobby of the Wind River Hotel. All October events are free to the public and participants are encouraged to come dressed in their best Halloween costume.
