Light Industrial Workforce Development in Rural America: A Proposal by CWC

Light Industrial Workforce Development in Rural America: A Proposal by CWC

FREE and Open to the Public - food provided by Pizza Hut of Lander

The Problem: Rural America is being left behind in economic development. Our towns are losing workforce, especially our youth, and some communities are practically blowing away. (Think Jeffrey City.) Central Wyoming College (CWC) is committed to being a driver of economic development in the region and is seeking community support for a new model of workforce development.

Speaker: Come hear CWC President Brad Tyndall share CWC's vision for implementing a training program in which the skills for today and tomorrow can be taught to small numbers of students in a low-cost manner.

About Lander Lunch & Learn: Back by popular demand and in cooperation with The Bootstrap Collaborative, the Lander Chamber of Commerce's monthly Lander Lunch & Learn series connects members of the business and broader community with opportunities for developing skills, learning about local businesses, and getting informed on community developments and public policy issues that impact your business.
