LEADER meeting

The October meeting of LEADER Corp will be held Wednesday, October 10 at 7 AM in the back room of the Oxbow Restaurant.
 
Republican candidate Lloyd Larsen, Democrat candidate Bruce Palmer and Libertarian candidate Ryan Jones have accepted invitations to talk at the meeting.
 
The candidates are running to succeed State Rep. Del McOmie, who is retiring this year from the post. Rep. McOmie is a co-founder of LEADER. The candidates will present their backgrounds on economic development, business experience and experience in job creation. They
will also address a question about what they see as the state's role in helping communities like Lander create jobs and support existing businesses.
All LEADER members and the public are invited.
 
LEADER Corporation is a Lander-based Economic Development organization that holds monthly meetings to inform the public on events and projects that affect the economies of Lander, Riverton and Fremont County. LEADER also provides assistance for new businesses that will bring development and jobs to the area.
