LEADER meeting

The first meeting of LEADER Corp. for the fall will be held at 7:00 AM in the backroom of the Oxbow Restaurant on Wednesday, September 12.
 
Our program will be on the proposed 1 cent sales tax that will be on the ballot in November.  Gary Michaud from the City of Lander will give us some of the facts and figures of the sales tax and what some of the City projects will be if the increase is approved.
 
Also attending will be some of the members of the Fremont County Commission and other County officials who will relate how the sales tax will impact projects at the County level.
 
All LEADER members and the Public are encouraged to attend.
 
LEADER Corporation is a Lander-based Economic Development organization that holds monthly meetings to inform the public on events and projects that affect the economies of Lander, Riverton and Fremont County. LEADER also provides assistance for new businesses that will bring development and jobs to the area.
