Presenter: Laura Baker, Executive Director of CyberWyoming, will present an engaging session on AI, beginning with an introduction and a live demonstration of ChatGPT's practical applications for businesses, such as summarizing articles, generating blog content, and retrieving information. She will then discuss the importance of AI guardrails in the workplace, highlighting common misconceptions and best practices to protect sensitive data. Attendees will also learn how to evaluate AI tools for their business needs through a step-by-step guide and gain insights from CyberWyoming's research on AI product safety and effectiveness. The session will conclude with a Q&A.
Laura Baker runs two nonprofits, CyberWyoming and the CyberWyoming Alliance, which comprise multiple programs designed to help average citizens and Wyoming companies manage their security risks. Some of the business side programs include Wyoming's Cybersecurity Competition for Small Businesses and an apprenticeship program for tech professions. Other citizen programs include a weekly publication called the Hacker's Brief, Senior Fraud Alert Flyers, the annual cybersecurity conference, the Teens Exploring Careers Camp, and a school cyber safety video challenge.
