International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race

The International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race will begin on Friday, January 27, 2012, in Jackson, coming through Lander that weekend, Janaury 28-29, and ending in Park City, Utah on Feb. 4.

On Sat., Jan. 28, from 2:30-4 p.m. the Lander Police Department will escort the mushers and their trucks through town, stopping and parking in the 200 block of Main Street. The 200 block of Main Street will be blocked off to traffic for the meet and greet and fun activities.

CHANGE TO LANDER LOCATION: The Lander leg of the race will be Sunday, Jan. 29 at Bruce's Bridge in Sinks Canyon, with a 9 a.m. start time, finishing approximately 3-4 hours later.
