Gas Hills Uranium Trek

 “Gas Hills Uranium Trek with Zach Larsen” September 13^th 9am

The Riverton Museum is holding its Gas Hills Adventure Trek for this Wind River Visitors Council Adventure Trek Series event on September 13th from 9am-3pm.

Local uranium expert Zach Larsen will be leading this trek out into the Gas Hills, the site of the first uranium found in Fremont County. We will be learning about the history of Wyoming’s uranium industry and exploring many of the sites in Gas Hills. Participants are responsible for bringing their own sack lunch and water.

Total cost is $15 per person, reservations are required.
