Popo Agie Conservation District and Fremont County Extension are joining forces with Central Wyoming College and Fremont Local Foods to host the 2013 Gardening & Backyard Living Expo.
The Expo will be on Saturday, April 6, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at Lander Valley High School Fieldhouse, 350 Baldwin Creek Road.
The Expo combines vendor booths and educational workshops. If you want tips on how to be more self-sustaining and enjoy your backyard or garden, the Expo is something you won't want to miss!
This is a family friendly event with a dedicated "Kids Corner" where participants can have fun with some hands-on activities. A "Food Court" will feature local growers and producers. Vendor booths will display the latest and greatest offerings of information, products and services that will help folks enhance their gardens and backyards.
Barnyard & Backyard workshops will begin at 10 a.m. and continue throughout the event. The breakouts will begin each hour and run for 45 minutes.
