Butch Cassidy at Jakey's Fork

“Butch Cassidy at Jakey’s Fork” Saturday, May 17, 9:00 a.m.
 
Join us at the museum before departing for the Jakey’s Fork Homestead.  We will start the morning with biscuits and a cup of cowboy coffee at Jakey’s Fork Homestead, while Carolyn Gillette and Cheryl O’Brien acquaint us with the history of this area.  Then we will visit historic places along the Jakey’s Fork, including the cabin where Butch Cassidy spent the Christmas of 1889, a 100-year old schoolhouse, the original Dubois Post Office site, and the old Atlantic Yellowstone Pacific Road used by early travelers.
