Backyard Beekeeping for fun, honey and pollination

Backyard Beekeeping: for fun, honey and pollination will be taught by Jack States.  Dates: March 3, 6 to 9 p.m. and March 4, 6 to 9 p.m. with a workshop on Saturday, March 8 from 11a.m. to 2 p.m.  Session 1 will cover Honeybee biology and the art of beekeeping.  Session 2 will cover Summer and winter hive management, honey bee diseases, harvest, etc. 
Session 3 will be a workshop highlighting beekeeping equipment, extraction supplies and a hands-on examination of a live backyard honeybee colony.
Cost will be $20 per session or $50 for all three sessions.
