Part-time work as Shipping Assistant
YAO Company is looking for a Shipping Assistant to help package and process our online orders. This position is very part-time. Roughly only 1 hour per day (Mon-Fri) at present with prospects of ramping up. We prefer shipping to be done between 2-4pm; however we have the potential of flexibility on some of the weekdays. There is also potential, if the candidate presents with other skills that additional duties and hours could be increased.
All shipping orders from www.yincare.com and www.yaocompany.com and www.getaltigen.com are logged in Shipstation.
The following is a set of regular duties:
- Check Shipstation for orders
- Print pick list
- Select carriers for shipment on each order
- Print packing slips
- Print shipping labels
- Pull product
- Assemble packages
- Set packages to be picked by UPS out for pick up
- Deliver USPS packages to the post office
- Restocking shelves (ability to lift heavy boxes)
- Label some of our product carefully and professionally
- Break down boxes
- Once a month - every 6 weeks take recycling and trash to the dump (access to truck ideal)
