POSITION: Custodian
LOCATION: Lander Valley High School (LVHS)
SALARY: $17.56/hr. minimum (24-25 salary rates); full benefits
SCHEDULE: 8 hours per work day, School year: M-F 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
START DATE: As soon as possible

QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; job-related experience is desired; be able to follow instructions; and be able to get along with students, teachers, parents, and other people with whom this position comes in contact.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequent climbing and balancing; significant stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; significant fine finger dexterity; be able to work around cleaners and chemicals; and be able to work in the cold.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The job of a custodian is done for the purpose of maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for students, staff, and public; providing and arranging equipment and furniture, etc. for meetings, classroom activities and events; and ensuring that assigned tasks are completed in safe, proper and timely manner. This position will clean a specific area of a school; assist with snow removal; operate various pieces of equipment; and perform similar tasks.
