POSITION: Art Teacher (Grades 9-12)
LOCATION: Pathfinder High School
SALARY: $ 21,129 (0.33 FTE with no benefits)
CONTRACT: 185-day contract; 2.5 hours per day (M,T,TH, F- 1:15-3:45 pm; W - 12:45-2:45 pm)
START DATE: August 2026

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must hold, or be eligible to hold a Wyoming teaching certificate with an endorsement in art and must be highly qualified in art. Desired qualifications include: Past successful high school teaching experience teaching multiple art disciplines; ability to differentiate instruction to meet the wide variety of student abilities and needs; ability and desire to work in a standards-based grading system; ability to work as part of a Professional Learning Community in a collaborative department team; ability to implement RTI and PBIS concepts; strong classroom management skills; ability to be able to work with all grade-levels 9-12; commitment to teach to the established standards and benchmarks to ensure student achievement; good communication skills; willingness to be a team player; and the desire to continue to grow professionally to better be able to educate our students.

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position will teach one art class at Pathfinder High School and work collaboratively with the other two art teachers. Classes to be taught may include projects in drawing, painting, pottery, printmaking and stained glass.
