If Wind River Country were a drink, what would it taste like?

Offer Valid: 04/30/2026 - 05/09/2026
Community invited to experience results of Cocktail/Mocktail Project

Now is your chance to find out.

The Wind River Visitors Council, in partnership with Wyoming Whiskey and local venues, invites the community to experience the results of the Wind River Country Community Cocktail/Mocktail Project, a celebration of flavor, place and creativity inspired by this region we call home.

Throughout March, local residents submitted cocktail and mocktail pairs that reflect Wind River Country’s wide-open landscapes, local ingredients, cultural traditions and personal stories. Now, those creations are ready to be tasted.

During National Travel and Tourism Week (May 3 to 9), community tasting and voting events will take place in three locations:

Dubois—Tuesday, May 5 at 5:30 p.m.
The Rustic Pine Tavern, 119 E. Ramshorn St.
$5, includes tasting and heavy appetizers

Lander—Friday, May 8 at 6 p.m.
Coalter Loft, 126 Main St.
$20, includes tasting and heavy appetizers

Riverton—Saturday, May 9 at 6:30 p.m.
Bar 10, 114 S. Broadway St.
$20, includes tasting and heavy appetizers

At each event, attendees will sample the submitted cocktail/mocktail pairs and cast their votes. One finalist from each community will advance to a final review, with the winning Wind River Country signature beverage announced shortly thereafter and served at Lander Brewfest on June 12 and 13 at the Wyoming Whiskey booth.

This is a community-driven experience—an opportunity to gather, connect and celebrate the creativity that defines Wind River Country.
