CWC invited to return to nationally recognized Metallica Scholars Initiative

Central Wyoming College has once again been selected to participate in the prestigious Metallica Scholars Initiative (MSI), receiving a $15,000 grant to support its nationally recognized welding program. This marks the fourth time CWC has been chosen for the initiative, bringing the college’s total MSI funding to $190,000 in support of career and technical education. CWC’s Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Welding prepares students for high-demand careers through a combination of hands-on training and classroom instruction, emphasizing industry safety, technical precision, and the skills employers expect in today’s welding workforce.
