The purpose of this meeting is to begin the Committee's work. The Committee will receive updates from the Wyoming State Parks and Cultural Resources (SPCR) Department and Wyoming Game and Fish Department. The Committee will discuss various topics related to the SPCR Department, including nonmotorized trail fees, Wyoming State Archives research fees, and Wyoming State Museum fees. The Committee will review the process for industrial siting and consider potential revisions to minimize the impact of industrial projects on wildlife. The Committee will examine several topics pertaining to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, including mule deer management, long-rifle shooting, fair chase issues, and hunting licenses. The Committee will review issues related to accessing public lands and corner crossing and issues concerning the Wyoming Lottery. The Committee will also tour the Whiskey Mountain Conservation Camp, Dubois Fish Hatchery, and Petroglyphs near Dubois.
The meeting will be held in person in Dubois and remotely with a live video stream available on the Legislature's Website (www.wyoleg.gov). A limited number of participants can sign up to provide public comment virtually for a specified agenda item during the Committee's upcoming meeting. The total amount of time dedicated to virtual public comment is set by the Committee Chairmen per Management Council Policy. Please fill out the public comment form to ensure the Committee knows you intend to provide public comment virtually. Only those who fill out the form to provide public comments virtually and who are e-mailed the Zoom invite from the Legislative Service Office will be permitted into the Zoom meeting to testify.
