Learn to Glide Classic:

8:30-10 am at Golf Course

$20 for LNSA members, $30 non-members

If you’re a classic skier currently getting a bit of glide and you want to glide and be more efficient, this is the lesson for you. We will focus on transitioning from a sort glide to longer gliding, as well as some uphill and downhill techniques. 

Intro to Skate Skiing:

10-11:30 at Golf Course

$20 for LNSA members, $30 non-members

This lesson is for those who have never skate skied before, or would like a deep overview of the fundamentals. The focus on balance, the skating motion, timing, and pole placement to set skiers up with a solid foundation.

How to sign up:

Each class is limited to 6 skiers. Since this is coming in short order and we need a minimum number of participants to run these, email landernordic@gmail.com your interest by 7 pm Friday. You’ll receive a release form to sign and bring to lesson, as well as cash or check made to Lander Nordic.

If you need to rent skis, pop in to the store on Friday or at 9am on Saturday and we’ll get you set up.

If you are not yet a member, please support by the Lander Nordic Ski Association by becoming a member today. The LNSA works extremely hard to provide fresh groomed trails and condition updates all season long.

Willow Creek and Sinks Canyon have been groomed by the Lander Cycling Club!

Huge shoutout to the volunteers of the Lander Cycling Club for their hard work to groom the Sinks Canyon and Willow Creek trails.  Both of these trail systems are beautiful, super fun, and optimized for fatbiking.We recommend parking at the Warming Hut for Sinks and at the Rock Shop Inn for Willow Creek.  If you need any more info or would like to rent a fatbike (only $45 a day), give us a shout or stop in and we’d love to chat!
