Come spend a morning in the CWC historic apple orchard and learn about the permaculture practice of guilding. Participants will learn about guild plant selection, the function of guild plants, and the benefits of companion planting. Each participant will have the opportunity to get their hands in the soil and install a guild of their own design. Plant materials and work tools will be provided. Please be prepared to be outside: bring water, snacks/sack lunch, sunscreen, work gloves, sturdy shoes (no sandals or flipflops), and a notebook. For more information, contact Joanne at CWC Lander (307) 855-2330 or email jslingerland@cwc.edu.
