Orchestra/concert association present free concert

The Fremont Symphony Orchestra and Lander Community Concert Association will present renowned pianist Richard Dowling in a solo concert Saturday, December 5, 7 p.m. at the Lander Valley High School Auditorium.
The orchestra and the community concert association will co-sponsor the evening concert.
Dowling said he would perform selections from his program of "The World's Greatest Piano Masterpieces," including George Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue" which Dowling arranged for piano.  The program includes other selections composed during the 18^th through 20^th centuries.
Past Dowling solo performances include concerts at various Fremont County locations with the Piatigorsky Foundation Tour. He also performed with the Fremont Symphony Orchestra as featured soloist during its November 2013 Lander concert.
Although this concert does not require tickets, the co-sponsors suggest a $10 donation at the door. The donated funds will help support Fremont Symphony Orchestra and Lander Community Concert Association activities.
